Collectively Tangled and Peer Guidance, in partnership with Platform Calgary, Innovate Calgary, and Rainforest Alberta, bring you the third session in a six-session series where we explore common challenges experienced by individuals working in the startup and innovation space.
In our third session, this time offered virtually, we’ll explore the ever-difficult task of accepting rejection. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, startup employee, or capacity builder, rejection is a part of the game, and it becomes a mighty defeating game if you don’t learn to become comfortable with it. Sometimes rejection feels very personal, but we’re here to help you identify other ways of interpreting it. Come connect with peers, chat through some of your experiences with rejection, and learn how to better handle the inevitable.
Session attendees will have the opportunity to engage in one-on-one advising sessions with Peer Guidance mentors, who can further support with topics discussed each month, or can support with additional business/work-related concerns. Registration for advising sessions will be available on a first come, first served basis following the main event. Additional details provided at the session. Light snacks and refreshments will also be served.
